Private Lessons with Golf Pros

Golf Addiction offers private lessons, through our facilities, with local golf professionals to help you improve your game. We are pleased to offer the following pro’s for one-on-one training. Coralee Jorgensen – Sioux Falls, SD

Coralee Jorgensen is a Class A PGA Golf Professional. She is the Head Golf Professional at Westward Ho Country Club. “Golf Digest” named her as the best teacher in the state in 2000, 2003, 2004, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2011 and 2012. A former USD Coyote, she was inducted into the USD Sports Hall of Fame in 2006. A career highlight was being selected to be one of four teachers to attend the 2009 “Golf Digest Hot List Summit”. Most recently, she and her staff were awarded the 2009 and 2011 Amundson Family Award for the Best Junior Golf Program in the state of South Dakota.

Danny Sinksen – Sioux Falls, SD

A native of Sioux Falls, Danny Sinksen has been the PGA Head Professional at Elmwood Golf Course for the past nine seasons. Sinksen is a graduate of Roosevelt High School where he was a member of the golf team for five seasons before playing collegiality at Missouri Southern State University. Sinksen was a four-year letter winner at MSSU and earned all-conference and academic all-conference honors all four years of his career. He received the Lion-Backer award his junior and senior seasons at MSSU for his academic and athletic excellence.
After earning his degree in business from Missouri Southern, Danny returned to Sioux Falls and worked part time at Elmwood Golf Course while trying to pursue a playing career in golf. While earning several accolades a highlight was when he participated in the Pinnacle Exceptional Drive Contest in Laughlin, Nevada eventually finishing 3rd and landed him a spot on ESPN. He spent the next three summers playing on the Dakotas Tour where he had several top 10 finishes and a tie for first at the Westward Ho Pro Am.

In 2008, Sinksen became an Assistant Professional at Prairie Green Golf Course and coached the Men's and Women's golf team at University of South Dakota while earning his Masters Degree in Adult Education and Higher Learning. In 2010 he became the Head Golf Professional at Elmwood Golf Course. Danny was elected to PGA Membership in 2015. Sinksen in all has spent 19 years working for the City of Sioux Falls golf courses, including eleven as a professional.

"My philosophy is to find what works for each person. Every individual learns in different ways and discovering what that may be is important to all. The basis of my instruction is to be purposeful and get the most out of the time you have at the golf course." No matter the age, Danny finds a way to connect. He's been working with The First Tee of South Dakota for the last 8 years and is currently a The First Tee Head Coach after 3 levels of education. Danny was recently named PGA Dakota Chapter "Teacher of the Year" in 2017 and won the "Player Development of the Year Award" in 2018. Danny also started coaching again at Augustana University in 2015. "I love the golf business, but to be honest my true passion lies within playing the game and teaching it. I have wanted to be a golf pro my whole life and really enjoy being around it each day."

Kris Kroetsch - Fargo, ND

Originally from Grand Forks, ND, Kris Kroetsch played high school golf for Grand Forks Red River where he played on 3 state championship teams, was a 3 time all conference performer and 2 time all state performer. After a short time at Texas Lutheran University, Kris returned to the University of North Dakota where he played on 2 NCC conference championship teams and was named to 2 NCC all conference teams. He played in 2 NCAA regional tournaments at the University of North Dakota. Kris had a successful amateur career winning regional tournaments like the KX Amateur, KMOT Classic, NDGA State Best Ball and the Birchmont.
In 2002 Kris turned professional and began working and teaching at the Moorhead CC. In 2008 Kris joined the Fargo CC where he currently teaches. During Kris’ time as a professional he has won over 25 regional pro-am tournaments along with winning the 2003 and 2009 MNPGA Fourball Match Play Championship, the 2007 Minnesota PGA Assistants Championship and being awarded the 2007 Minnesota PGA Assistant Player of the Year. Kris is a 7 time Dakota Chapter Player of the Year and has played in 2 National PGA Assistant Championships and competed in the 2013 PGA Professional National Championship. Kris has been honored with 3 professional awards, 2009 and 2011 PGA Dakota Chapter Assistant Professional of the Year and the 2012 PGA Dakota Chapter Teacher of the Year.
Kris is a Class A member of the PGA of America since 2008 and has been a PGA Teaching Professional since 2003. He is currently the Director of Instruction at the Fargo Country Club. Kris’ coaching program focuses on player assessment to create an individualized performance plan to increase performance on the course. Kris will work with you to create a custom coaching program to improve your game. Kris is A 5 Simple Keys Director, Aimpoint Certified, Flightsope Certified, Titleist Performance Institute Junior 2 Instructor, K-Vest Certified Instructor and a Certified Putting Instructor from The Frankly Golf Academy.

Katie Johnson - Fargo, ND

Katie has worked at Osgood since 2009 with a constant goal to grow the game of golf. She graduated from NDSU in 2013 in PR/Advertising and Web Design. Raised in Fargo, she played competitive golf from a young age and joined NDSU’s team her freshman year of college. After a year of playing, Katie switched to NDSU’s track team, where she competed in shot put and hammer. With her background in athletics, she possesses a strong knowledge of physical fitness, its application to golf, and the importance of technique in all sports.

Katie is responsible for creating and directing all Junior Lessons, LPGA Girls Golf, and Junior Cup programs at Osgood. She also teaches Ladies Beginner Lessons and is involved with Ladies League and Sunday League. In 2015, Katie was high in demand for private lessons for juniors, women, and men. She is currently a Level 3 PGA Apprentice and is the webmaster for

Katie is available for individual and group lessons with golfers in the very beginner to intermediate ability levels. She specializes in equipping any golfer to play the course comfortably – primarily new women and juniors. She is also available for individual/group playing lessons for golfers who want course-play experience.

Aaron Nelson - Fargo, ND

Aaron graduated from the Golf Academy of America, Phoenix in 2014. Born and raised in Rogers, MN, Aaron began playing golf at a young age. During high school Aaron ran Cross Country and played basketball. It was during his golf career in high school that he fell in love with the game of golf. After graduating high school Aaron attended Minnesota State University Mankato for a year. During that time realized he wanted to turn his passion for golf into his career and moved to Arizona to attend the Golf Academy of America. He graduated from the program with an Associate’s Degree in Business.

Aaron started working at Osgood in Spring 2015 and is involved with Men’s Club, Adult Group Lessons, Junior Tournament Series, and numerous Junior Lessons. In 2015, Aaron taught over 100 private lessons. He is currently enrolling in the PGA/PGM program.

Lisa Schwinden - Fargo, ND

Commitment and passion for the game of golf has been a trademark of Lisa’s tenure at the Osgood Golf Course.

As Head Professional of Osgood Golf Course since 2005, Lisa has received many honors, including the 2005 Dakota Chapter Facility Promoter of the Year and the Junior Golf Leader Award in 2009, 2011, and 2014. She was recognized as the YWCA of Cass County’s Woman of the Year in 2014 for Youth Advocacy. Lisa is currently one of a handful of female PGA Head Professionals in the tri-state region.

Lisa played collegiate golf at the University of Portland from 1998-2002. She was a four-time West Coast Conference All-Academic Team member and the individual winner of the 2000 Lewis and Clark Invitational. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, she returned to Fargo to begin the PGA’s Professional Golf Management Program. Lisa earned her PGA Class A membership in 2005 and completed the PGA’s Certified Professionals Program in Instruction in 2007.

Lisa’s LPGA Girls Golf Club of Fargo has been nationally recognized as a leader in growing the game of golf to girls.
Since 2005, her passion is teaching golfers of all ages and experience levels. Lisa’s relaxed and low-pressure style of teaching helps make beginner and intermediate golfers feel relaxed and in an environment conducive to learning.

Jordan Lewis - Fargo, ND

Born and raised in Brooten, MN, Jordan started playing golf at a young age where he discovered his passion for golf. After high school, Jordan turned his passion for golf into a career by enrolling in the Golf Academy of American in Phoenix, Arizona. He graduated from the program with an Associate’s Degree in Business.

Jordan joined Osgood in Fall 2015 and will enroll in the PGA/PGM program. He will be involved in Junior Lessons, Men’s Club, and Adult Group Lessons.

Jordan is available for private and group lessons with golfers ranging in very beginner to high ability players. He is also available for individual/group playing lessons for players who want course-play experience.
